Visit a family-run truffle farm and meet the dogs that help uncover the famous “black diamond” of French cuisine. Enjoy the family tasting of truffle products paired with local wine — a truly authentic Provençal experience.

Day 1
Arrival & Welcome
Pick-up at the Airport Latest 12.00.
We highly recommend arriving the day before — enjoy beautiful Nice for a day, and we’ll share all our favorite recommendations with you. The pick-up will be at Nice airport latest 12.00.
Lunch at a Beautiful Wine Estate
On our way to Le Val, we’ll stop for lunch and, for those who wish, a wine tasting experience.
Check-in & Relax
After a day of travel, we’ll take time to settle in and unwind.
Dinner at a Nearby Village Restaurant
We’ll end the day with a shared dinner. We’ll take you to one of our favorite local spots in a nearby village.
Day 2
Slow Morning & Exploration
Slow Morning & Breakfast
Start the day slowly. Join us for morning QiGong, read a book, or simply be. Eat whenever it feels right for you — breakfast is served by the accommodation.
Excursion
We’ll go wine tasting and on a guided tour and enjoy the charm of Provence. Lunch will be included.
Free Time & Dinner
We’ll return to the “Bastide,” where you’ll have time to relax and unwind.
Later, we’ll head into the village together. Dinner is flexible and not included, so you’re free to choose how you’d like to spend the evening — either with your travel companions or with us.
Day 3
Village life & Truffle hunt
Slow Morning & Breakfast
Just like Friday, we’ll start the day slowly.
Excursion
We’ll explore a charming French village. While exploring, feel free to grab a bite to eat — this is at your own expense. Afterwards, we’ll drive to a family-run truffle farm for a guided truffle hunt with dogs.
Group Dinner
Let’s enjoy our last dinner together. We’ll head out as a group and spend the evening in true Provençal style, celebrating the final night of the trip.
Day 4
Departure day
Breakfast & Check-out
Enjoy a slow and relaxed breakfast, just like the previous days. Check-out is at 11:00, and we’ll leave Le Val shortly after.
Drop-off
The airport drop-off will be around 13:00.
Accommodation
A French Bastide in Le Val
Enjoy slow mornings with a cup of coffee by the pool, or join us for QiGong to start the day in the best possible way.
The Rooms
La Bastide du Val offers charming rooms with air conditioning, private bathrooms, and beautiful views of the garden and pool — creating a peaceful and relaxing stay.
For this retreat, we have reserved double rooms with private terraces. If you are interested in a private room or a triple room, please let us know and we’ll gladly check availability with the property.

Breakfast
A continental breakfast is served daily, including fresh pastries, juice, cheese, fruit, and other local favorites.
The Property
The bastide features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a terrace, and beautiful gardens to enjoy throughout your stay. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The property is entirely non-smoking.
